Saskia's family lead a very dishonest life. Income was inconsistent at best and often came from the wrong side of the law. This instilled a weakness in Saskia - promises that were never upheld lead to a reluctance to trust and a constant hesitation to act until she was entirely sure it was the right thing to do. Born and raised in a Mali'thill family in the heart of Haelun'or, she cares little for most other races and people and was taught to only care for herself and her own. Her inability to trust was further cemented by the facade her family put up - that they were superior due to their lineage despite being 'impure' in their actions. However, regardless of her family's imperfections, they lasted a good 65 years keeping their business a secret. That was, until Saskia's brother made an attempt to lift their family out of criminal life by taking on a job that promised enough riches to keep their family afloat and settle their debts. Needless to say, the job went sour and he was unable to deliver. To this day, she doesn't know what was done to him in recompense, only that he was 'changed' and sent after her family to be rid of them all. Her family now scattered about Arcas, Saskia now cautiously wanders Oren, Haense, Morsgrad, and the various kingdoms of men in search of work and shelter from the crazed wrath of her brother.
