After more than a decade of trying, Myrymress was born in the Kingdom of Renelia at the end of Sun’s Smile 1711 to parents Civrarn and Imnare. Though they were overjoyed to finally have a child, Myrymress’ parents did not faun over her. She was rigorously taught the tenants of The Kervira and other subjects first by her parents then by private tutors. She was a quiet child, but took to her studies with a passion. Her mother often said letting Myrymress read philosophy was the gravest error of her life as Myrymress became quite irksome to her mother with her “constant, inane questioning,” which often got Myrymress in trouble during her early decades. Outside of her scholarly studies Myrymress loved to watch people work at their trades, and frequently asked professionals to teach her the basics of their skill.This has not always been to her benefit. Myryrmress once received a severe beating for unwittingly playing a minor role in a dark ritual after inquiring what some unsavory sorcerers were up to in the middle of the woods. She regretted telling her mother what happened after fleeing when things got intense. As Myrymress grew older, her parents grew more and more ashamed of her. They resented the degradation caused to their name by her inability to keep her opinions to herself and her mother feared she would never marry to a respectable Mali’ker. On her fiftieth birthday her parents, at their wits end, finally cast her out, instructing her only to return once she could accept and appreciate the ways of Renelian society and be thankful for the life they had provided for her within it. Since then, Myrymress has wandered Arcas in search of knowledge, beauty, and a group to call her family. She has spent time with travelling merchants, as a farmhand, and working in many taverns as she meandered from place to place, not yet finding what she desires.
