Conner was born in a carriage as a noblewoman was leaving her husband. The child she had delivered was not born of the royal blood, but a common farmhand. The noble woman gave the child up to a church in the holy Oren Empire. The church took care of Conner for a while, till he turn into more of a nuisance, not giving much attention to the idea of religion. The church kicked him out at the age of 9. By the time Conner was 15 he had built a network of thieves, pickpockets, and sewer rats that would care, and protect each other. Conner hit a massive growth spurt around the age of 14. This caused him to noticed more and more when performing his illicit duties. Thus he spent time with the Oren authorities doing community service. It was here that Conner learned Respect, honor, and camaraderie. Conner became infatuated with eh idea of brotherhood in arms, and daydreamed of what it would be like to be in battle one day. When he became old enough for conscription into the Empire's armies. Conner volunteered for service. Conner performed valiantly, honorably, and courageously fighting to spread the Holy Empire. Now at the age of 25 his term for military service has ended. He is read to discover the rest of his destiny.
