Ailmar Adryn was born as the eldest child to a family in Atlas. Both his father and mother were prominent figures in the army of The Silver State of Haelun'or. From the age of 8 and on, after school his parents would teach Ailmar in the ways of the warrior. He would practice archery, swordsmanship, along with other more mundane practices, such as the maintenance of armor and horses. The years went on and Ailmar began higher education. In school, Ailmar excelled greatly, but he was never passionate towards his studies. He would an increasing amount of time fixating over the legendary arms and armor of heroes past, and their exploits. He grew further tired of his studies and began to wish he was a hero himself. Ailmar spent more time practicing with the blade and bow, and less time on his schoolwork. He became locally known for his skills with his swordsmanship, especially for an elf of such young age. Ailmar longed to become an adventurer, and quickly joined a small group of young elves looking to explore the unknowns. The group had a few interesting discoveries, but had a lot of internal strife. Ailmar and another member of the group, Jestra, fought over who should become the leader of the group. Jestra was eventually decided to be the leader. Ailmar was furious; he was a much better swordsman and still thought he should lead the group. He challenged Jestra to a duel for who should be the rightful leader. The duel was close, Jestra quickly dealt a flurry of blows to Ailmar, which he deftly parried. However, Ailmar was ill prepared for Jestra’s final move. In one swift motion Jestra feigned with her rapier and then tackled Ailmar to the ground, drawing a small dagger to his throat. Ailmar was stunned, how could he be bested in a duel to such a wild move? His embarrassment forced him to abandon the group, and look for new adventures in the land of Arcas where he now resides.
