[!] A messenger eagle flies throughout the lands of Sutica with small letters carried within its talons. These letters found themselves to anyone who wished to read them.
In the dawn we will rise
The Previous Duke of Eastcliffe, Andrew Staunton, has dragged the name of Eastcliffe through the mud, shaming the title, the people, and the Sutican monarch. I, Aramis Lavigne, have claimed the title of Duchess for the betterment of Eastcliffe. Within Sutica law, the law which the land is placed upon, there are no birthrights, there are no claims, there is only the word of the Sutica Monarch, that very word being ignored by the Stauntons claiming birthright to a land of no claims, no religion, only freedom and trade, this word of law by the Monarch of Sutica has allowed myself to rise to claim the Duchy allowing it to fall under my guidance. Staunton had his chance to prove to the world what he could do, but he did not take it. He had everything at his disposal but was unmotivated. I do not want to make that mistake.
Eastcliffe is a strong and powerful vassal, and it is my job to finally show what we have to offer. Both Andrew and Tiberius have seen our strength and they were threatened by it. Their idea of burning Eastcliffe will not work. We will grow into a power that should not be messed with. Our military will grow and so will our skill with the sword. Both Hartcold and Staunton have caused much chaos, but I have found an opportunity to create something beautiful.
Under my leadership, I will guide those within Eastcliffe as a strong minded leader. The first thing that I will do is banish both Andrew Staunton and Tiberius Hartcold, Traitors to Sutica and Eastcliffe. I will show no mercy to those who have shown no loyalty to their home, or Sutica. I will reward the loyal ones within and create something new, something worth fighting and remaining for, I will branch out and become better then my predecessors, I will not fall into the same hole which they did.
As an eagle flies high in wait, I will swoop down when opportunity presents itself.

Many years have passed since the founding of Courlands successor, Eastcliffe. While optimistic at first I was quickly disappointed with the first Duke Joseph and his inability to rule effectively. Abandoning his Duchy for Oren he left those of us remaining with the labor intensive task of deconstructing his plans and starting anew. I watched on the side as Andrew Staunton spoke to us claiming a birthright to lead Eastcliffe. He spoke of honor, respect, and chivalry. Foolishly I applauded him, believing in his hopeless visions and protecting him from criticism time and time again from the other vassals. All the meanwhile our sister and brother vassals grew.
The Stauntons inability to remain financially responsible led to our coffers being drained year by year. It got to a point where the Duchy of Eastcliffe owed three years worth of taxes in which I paid to avoid losing our home. Of course, when I speak of our home I truly mean the home I designed and began building, brick by brick. I was foolish, blinded for so long but I did find it in myself to finally demand assistance.
The Duke has responsibilities to our Capital Nation; Sutica. He is required to attend the council and vassal meetings to represent Eastcliffe, their needs, and their progress. Due to either shame or lack of care, Andrew Staunton has neglected his duties. I have attended to demonstrate that we hold the ability to want change. Rumors spread that the current Duke has fallen ill, or simply died, when that’s not the case, he lacks the motivation to come to meetings and lead the duchy which the Duke holds the responsibility to lead and govern. A new eagle flies high above Eastcliffe needing and calling for a new successor.
I, Aramis Lavigne, Challenge you Andrew Staunton, for the betterment of Eastcliffe, to remove the plague which you’ve left upon claiming the Dukedom, to create a new image, to create something worth leading, I challenge for change.

Fire Evocation
Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:
Fire evocation is one of the many voidal arts that require study and understanding along with a connection with the void. This connection does come at a cost, an example would be a strong man being turned into a skinny twig slowly over time. The mage must establish a connection before being able to create a flame. Voidal fire still holds all property of a flame, It will vanish when the user disconnects from the void. Voidal fire can sill burn and can still give off heat. A user must make a connection to the void and picture in their mind a flame and where it is being summoned from the void. This requires a mana source, which is the character itself. The characters muscles and stamina are deteriorating due to the overflow of mana that the mage needs. Fire is a mix of air, oxygen, and a fuel source to create a fire, the mage's mana would be the fuel source. This means that when the mage runs out of mana, they are not able to cast the fire. There are many creative things one can do with fire, whether in combat or just doing slice of life rp, the only limits are your mind and the redlines of course. With creativity, you can shape the fire to form something, anything really. It would only be for aesthetic purposes though. Fire evocation is the invoking of the element from the void to be controlled by the users will.
Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?
Combustion- A fireball expands with so much force that it lets out lots of kinetic energy along with flames to create an explosion. It is a vortex motion within the flame that when you hold a center point with more concentrated mana it mimics a bang when thrown
blue fire- Twice as hot as normal fire and requires a lot more concentration. It also requires a lot more mana use to summon from the void.
smoke- Drawing smoke from the void that usually emits off of fire and using it for defensive purposes.
Can you give an example of a casting emote, of a spell of your choice?
Asra let out a deep sigh as she closed her eyes and lowered her ears in a relaxed position. Before long, she opened them with a slight yellow hue appearing around her eyes. She rubbed her hands together to create friction before sparks began to form into a flame above her right hand. (1)
She brought her left hand over her right and did a circling motion above the flame, slowly but surely it began to grow. Her right foot slowly twisted into the ground to form a good stance. Her right Hand lowered ever so slightly, the flames growing size looked as if it grew heavier as well. Her brows furrowed as her eyes narrowed onto the flame in concentration, mesmerized by its swift movements in the wind. (2)
Her left hand raised ever so slightly before she pinched her index finger to her thumb and pulled away. This caused the flame to follow and form a crude straight line, after she let go the tip of the arrow formed. Its size was a bit smaller than an the size of an arrow, the flames constantly flickering yet still under her control. The shape was rathe crude yet still recognizable. (3)
Asra rolled her right shoulder back, her palm pointed forward towards the rock she wanted to hit. With one motion she pushed her palm forward and curled her fingers as if she was holding onto the flame itself. The arrow shaped flame shot forward in a small burst of fire at quick speeds towards the rock. (4)
Upon impact, the fire torched the rock, leaving a black burn mark. Asra furrowed her brows and readjusted her shoulder to give one last burst of flame, her hand slightly shaking as the flame continued. With one quick motion she clenched her fist, cutting off the flame being shot out from her hand. She let out a few tired huffs as her palms sweat. Embers that were still left over burn't the grass around her. She let out a soft sigh and the yellow hue would fade away. She walked over to the small embers on the ground and stepped on them to put them out. (5)
Can you give an example of a teaching-emote (interacting with another) of a spell of your choice?
Looked to her students with a serious look on her face. A brow lifted before she let out a chuckle at her faked serious face. "Alright, today ye are gonna learn the basics of summoning a flame. I hope ye have a good understanding of fire itself." She nodded her head before offering a spot for her student to sit. "So first, connection. Try not to pass out this time." She said in a slightly joking manner as she watched what they did closely. "Good, good. Now, I want you to imagine the flame. Imagine its heat, how it would feel against your skin. Think of the smell of the smoke that emits off of it. The cracking and pops of the flame as it flickers with life." She slowly walked around her student as she watched closely.
Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?
I would tell them to void whatever information they have emoted. I would pull them aside and tell them out of character what they are doing wrong and how they could possibly fix it. I will give them three chances to fix it, after that I would drop them from my teaching.

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:
A wonk is a frog or toad like humanoid creature. There are different classes a wonk can be in, tribal and reformed. The tribal wonks live in the swamplands and have a more primitive nature while the reformed wonks have more descendants lifestyle, it shows in there clothing and speech. Tribal wonks usually speak Ribbish, reformed wonks only speak it on occasion. They can live up to 120, over time their skin can dry and crack and as they get older their ability to keep moist decreases. A wonk can carry eggs at any point in their adult life, the eggs must be hatched in fresh water. Many will not survive but the ones that do will grow from a tadpole to a fully developed wonk within a 5 year period. They have a tongue with the dexterity of a finger and it can reach down to their arm. They cannot learn soul based magics because they are considered a lesser-soul but they can learn alchemy. There are two different types of species, a frog wonk is tall and skinny with a smooth/sticky round face, and the toad wonk which has much more dry and cracked skin, it is shorter then it’s frog counterpart.
