Declan was born in the province of Kaedrin, In the town of Owynsburg, a son of a fisherman and a Tanner. Declan had two siblings, Twin baby brothers. Sadly, these two would pass away before they reached 3 years old. Declan was raised like any child, faithful to the one and only, Church of the Canon. During his adolescent years, he would often be reprimanded by his parents for getting into fights due to his rather short temper, as well as his father's disdain for violence, having been a veteran of the War of Two Emperors. As a young boy Declan was surrounded by most of the children in his area, with these children he formed unique connections with each of his close friends, some that Declan maintains till this very day. His best friend "Harry" was the closest friend that Declan had, but they grew apart and stopped talking. As he progressed into his later Teenage years, the young Declan would go with his father and fish, this is where Declan would lose his father in a accident involving a unfortunately timed storm. This guilt manifested into his addiction to Whiskey, as it is the only thing that will let him escape the guilt of the incident. This lead to him having a disconnect from many of the people in the village, usually being seen as nothing more but a common drunkard. His mother was the one that Declan grew distant from his mother, usually only seeing her at church nowadays. Recently however, the now 19 year old Declan has attempted to change his ways, this included trying to stave off the urges of the Drink. He usually calms these urges, but sometimes he continues to indulge.
