Mercious disembarked from his vessel and took in his surroundings, smelling the salty sea air mixed with the fresh bread and fruits being sold before him. A man approached him asking him what he sought in this land. Mercious paused a moment then answered. “i suppose i seek both adventure and a new life with new family.” the man flashed a hearty smile then carried on with his business, leaving Mercious to set forth on his journey.
