Mercious was born in Sutica, his mother was a renowned healer, known for her compassion and her beauty. His father was a well known warrior who spent one night with her then left her to raise a child. He grew up learning the art of healing from his mother. soon she married a guard who immediately took on the roll of father to young Mercious. he taught him the art of combat, mostly that of the sword and longbow. Mercious was an adventurous child who loved to spend his days in the woods playing his flute and making friends with the wildlife. he became adept at living off the land. After many years he came of age and his mother revealed to him that he had a half brother who lives in Lunsbeck and who his true father was, he hated the man and decided to keep in the Rosenwood name and crest, which he wears on his cloak. he knew that his half brother had nothing to do with the actions of his father and wanted to meet him, for he had always wanted a brother. after discussing with his mother he sent a message to Lunsbeck explaining the story and that he wished to meet. days later he received a pleasant response agreeing to the reunion. He showed the letter to his mother and father who were worried about what kind of man his brother would be, but gave him their blessing after seeing how much this meant to Mercious. He made his goodbyes to his friends and family, packed his belongings and set forth to meet his brother and his future.
