  1. She is known to be a bit of a rebel as she tries to challenge some of the norms around her… from traditions to religion to politics to social norms, believing that women should be allowed to make decisions about their own paths and choices in life, she tries to show other young Adunian women that you can be respectful while still fighting for their rights to choose their own destiny. This drive was fueled from her environment, Sutica, where she grew up and because of its peaceful and diverse culture she learned about different ways to live and earn your living. Greatly inspired by the women of the Trade Monarch, Vilantra sought to influence her own people and family in her own way… by setting the example like the Trade Princesses of Sutica had done before. The women were great influencers and brought about change that could be described only as inspiring for any young women like Vilantra...the Fifth Trade Princess had begun the process of change when she opened up her city and welcomed in people from all over, helping to create a flourishing environment for its people… the Sixth Trade Monarch, Lily Helenson-Anarion was Vilantra’s main inspiration. She had taken the foundation work of her predecessor and added to it, truly cementing in the diverse and open minded environment for all to grow and become prosperous no matter your bloodline, race or faith. She is approachable and willing to speak with anyone, but she does tend to come across as strong willed and not afraid to speak her mind. Her parent’s immigrated from Oren to Sutica during the War of the Emperors. They thought they’d be safer in a peaceful nation like Sutica and that it would be a good place to raise their child, instilling in her the values and morals of her people while providing this safe haven. However her upbringing became a bit more relaxed than most other Adunian women, probably because she was so headstrong that her parents yielded to her ‘demands’ and personal choices. Her mother didn’t completely agree with Vilantra’s choices, it was simply going against all that she had been taught and raised to believe. She was a very traditional Adunian woman... her traditions and beliefs held a strong sway over her, to the point where the two barely spoke or had much interaction with each other as Vi grew older. It came as no surprise when Vi wanted to spread her wings and explore the theatrical arts... even though it was against their wishes, but this didn’t stop Vi from going out into the world and searching for her place in it. As a young girl she convinced her parents to take her to the Sutican Display of the Arts event. There she witnessed incredibly talented artists and bards performing before the crowds and her little heart fluttered with excitement… for this was the moment Vi felt a passion growing inside her that would fuel her even further into wanting to learn how to perform like the musicians and actors before her. She loved to perform and sing in front of anyone who would listen and so it seemed like the perfect fit but Vilantra didn’t want to stop there. No, she wanted more and so she set out into the world searching for more… more knowledge and more passions to become obsessed about. She thrives under the thrill of traveling around but maybe one day she will find something to tie her down to one location for the rest of her life.
