With a hand raised to shield her eyes from the sun sparkling through the clouds, Sedeli blinked. She hadn’t been expecting anyone to approach her. The city was big enough, that a lone snow elf shouldn’t cause a distraction. Shifting her weight from one foot the other, her free hand gripped her pack, shuffling it on her back to a more comfortable position. Her eyes focused on the gentleman, noting his rather over-the-top clothes. For a half a second, a tiny frown played on her lips. She was dressed in travelling clothes, no wear near as nice as this man. One more way that Sedeli would feel out of place, besides the obvious. “Okay, Sedeli, smile. Be friendly.”, the young elf thought to her self, a friendly smile hitching itself onto her lips, “I came to chase adventure! And knowledge. Could you be so kind as to point me to the nearest place where I could purchase a map, or get a better lay of the land?” The hand on her pack tightened, hoping that her words and facial expression would convey a sense of niceness.
