Sitting in the Seven Skies, Garret Darkwood looks down and bows his head "Goodbye forever Oren, for years I have faithfully served you. Now your servants lay restfully in the seven skies, your descendants scattered like the wind. One day you will arise, you always will" Garret would then proceed to take out a heavenly Guitar and sing a song that went like:

As he comes to from his coma, recovering from the dome collapsing on him in San Luciano. Father Markos reads over the missive and catches up on news "What has happened to Oren" Father Markos proceeds to pick up a pen and write to his dear friend the pontiff, praying that time has treated him better.

Cardinal Markos reads the missive, as he gulps. "Here I am LORD it is I LORD, I have heard you calling in the night. For you ask whom shall I send? I respond to thee send me. For here I am LORD, at your service"

Garret Darkwood from the seven skies looks down "well.............resolution...I guess?" as he goes on wondering about the cold cases he had as Inspector General of the Ministry of Justice.

Cardinal Markos nods "GOD wins, he always does"

Bishop Markos signs the Lorraine "What I don't get is this constant flouting of church rulings. Lucien I's reign is legitamet, may the opposition find peace and unity let us pray" Bishop Markos then heads to a library, his mind obbessing about other issues throughout the diocese and the realm.

Cardinal Markos follows up with a letter
I do confirm the findings of this report. A further report was submitted to the Curia by my hand after a visit to Sedan.

Markos Knowing the truth about what happened in Sedan, would shake his head in dismay "The GALL of these Orenians to first burn down a house of worship! Then blatantly lie about it, is absolutely disgusting and despicable"

Bishop Markos reads this missive, he then begins to have a brain aneurysm as he is rushed to the Savoyard Hospital to recover he keeps repeating "What the bloody hell is going on in Oren?"

Bishop Markos closes himself in his study, praying and weeping for the life of the Pontiff, a pontiff who lead the church through times more turbulant than the past few decades. "Rest well your holiness"

Your Holiness and faithful clergy of the Holy Mother Church,
I address you not as one of your vaunted selves - for I am no ordained servant of GOD, and instead work endlessly to provide for my family in the poorly art of milk farming. Indeed, I am only literate due to the passing whims of a charitable Haeseni noblewoman, whose name I may never know - but I digress.
The land upon which Sedan now sits (or at least, the city whose white-and-gold banners I am told is Sedan), was once my own home. My herd of twenty cows and two bulls once grazed the hills peacefully there; due to wars beyond my understanding, I have been forcibly displaced and my herd wrongfully slaughtered or stolen for passing Dwarf armies. I do not know what circumstances caused this war, nor have I met this excommunicated Emperor of mine - what I do know is that I have lost my livelihood and my home, and those that trample on it say they sought peace.
Does the Church truly think we peons are so worthless before GOD, to value an invading prince beholden to GOD-hating halfmen (those that attacked Du Loc with a dragon a year ago), over his faithful flock? Is Sedan, after being given my farmlands, independent of the Dwarves, that he is now able to declare peace without his heathen masters' consent?
Will I ever see my cows again?
Faithfully,
Louis of Southbridge
Cowherd
To Louis of Southbridge,
Your letter has come to me and I am most concerned about your situation. I offer you my prayers for your wellbeing and for your family. The war has stretched everyone to their limit and I regret that the war has put you in the situation that you are in, and I pray that the armies of man and of non man, exercised further restraint in their warfare against the Orenian Empire, for it is the Anathemized Emperor that leads his sheep astray, not the farmer who just wishes to live. So long as I live my diocese and the holy mother church will never forget those who have fallen on hard times, no matter what nation they are from. GOD loves and embraces all, and it is our duty as the Holy Mother Church to house those who are unhoused, to help those who need help. I will personally get you new cows and find you new settlement may it be in Sedan, Savoy, or Haense that you can continue to do your work and grow your family. I will stop at nothing to see your livelyhood restored and your family safe, it is the holy mission of which GOD has ordained us clergy to do.
Everlasting blessings,
Markos, Bishop San Luciano

An Artist Depiction of the final moments of Leopold I's life at the hands of the Emperor of Oren
The Greatest Crime
Your Holiness and faithful clergy of the Holy Mother Church,
A crime against our Lord has been committed this saints day. A crime that is so severe, and so great that it brings me physical pain to write to inform you about. After an investigation concluded compiling from a number of witnesses and connections. Their names will be omitted for there is no leaps and no bounds this evil will not cross to ensure that his power remains preserved and absolute. This could very well be my last letter for my life now could be in grave danger if this letter falls into the wrong hands. But this is information that must be brought to light, it is my mission from God to do so
Earlier this saint's day, a servant of our Lord God, Leopold I of Sedan entered into the graces of the Lord, to his everlasting kingdom in the seven skies. Leopold I did not go into the seven skies, an old man, surrounded by loving family as he took his breath. Rather he was the victim of a crime that can only be attributed to pure evil incarnate. The Anti Godani, the Anathemized Emperor of Oren took it upon himself to murder the man of GOD in cold blood.
Leopold I came to New Providence, by his own free will. He came unarmed and unguarded, a man desperate to protect his people from the onslaught of the evil Empire. One last effort at peace, a sign of the highest levels of virtue. Upon hearing the request for peace from the Sedanians, Philip III, of whom the citizens of the Empire have the audacity to call him “The Great”, decided to draw a warhammer and smash Leopold I’s head in with it. A gruesome way to go for a man of virtue, a man who led his Sedanian people out from the shadows of the Tyranny of the Empire to a new life, and at the point of which Leopold begged for mercy and for peace. The Emperor of Oren committed the gravest sin against GODANI, and took the life of a servant of GOD. This crime cannot go unheard, and unanswered.
At this moment Sedan stands on the frontlines of a renewed offensive from the forces of the Evil Empire. We as Faithful Canonists cannot allow ourselves to sit idly by as our brothers and sisters in GOD stare in the face of evil. Oren has made it clear that they would stop at nothing to destroy Sedan. The people of Sedan need our help, I pray that we can help defend a community of GOD, and honor the memory of Leopold I, a Martyr.
Oh God the most high and Most Omnipotent, welcome, your faithful servant Leopold I into your eternal kingdom. Let him find the peace of which he fought for until his death. And let us gain the strength to defend our brothers and sisters as they face the enemies of your grace. We pray in your name. Amen.
I remain an humble servant of GOD,
Markos Bishop San Luciano

Bishop Markos sits in his study for two days, praying for the soul of Presbyter, when he comes out, he walks into the Savoyard Bascillica, and screams up into the dome of the building "Oh God, Oh God, let it be me not her"

"Lament?" Bishop Markos asks as he sits in his abbey in San Luciano "You Lament?" Bishop Markos then crumples up the letter and chuckles as he warms his fireplace with it "You dare feel lament, These Orenians should lament that they turned themselves against the church, not the church turning against them, but they turned themselves against the church. If the Orenians had any humility in them they wouldn't have fought for an anathema Emperor. They wouldn't have had their Emperor kill his family members. They wouldn't have allowed them to continue a war against Urguan that contains faithful Canonist Vassals that Oren attacked. Thats what I lament for. Oren got what they deserved, they had it coming" Bishop Markos goes back to ministering to the faithful of Savoy

Bishop Markos looks at the crisis brewing in Urgan, "I believe in our lust for the destruction of the anathema Emperor, we created a monster" He then turns to his Acolytes "Pay close attention, this will be one moment for the History Books"
1 -
Bishop Markos would offer prayers to the Orenian Empire "May the souls of those who have died, not die needlessly, may the Empire become holy once more in the light of GOD. Amen"
1 -
Bishop Markos signs the Lorraine "I pray that all of Canondom comes to the defense of the true faithful."
2 -
Bishop Markos San Luciano reads the letter, as a vein in his head nearly pops "These dwarves were fighting for virtue against the evil empire, not just literally a few saints days ago, now they turn their backs on us Faithful Canonists" Bishop Markos then spits on the ground "This must be a lesson that the church must learn: that we cannot trust heathens. For when the moment presents itself, they will betray us, I pray for peace, but thou art shalt prepare for war"

Depends on the scenario. If it is a small settlement with an small RP group. Then yes, but if it is a large city like Providence of Karosgrav. That can rally 50 by sneezing, then bring the thunder.

Father Markos begins to read up extensively about the culture and the language. Teaching himself within his convent, ready to create a mass in the Merca language, the Mercamass

An nameless Orenian commoner, who has grown up hearing stories of the Mercatorii clashes with the Ministry of Justice, how they bested and absolutely crushed the first assault lead by the disgraced Inspector-General Garret Darkwood, how the Orenians punished the Mercatorii for their mear existence, then seeing the current Emperor of Oren and opening his copy of Canon Law, on Anathemization he then nods "This war against the Emperor is just, thus I must seek out and find this Mercatorii, Viva Mercatorii:

Sitting by a fire an young Hyspian would read the missive. He would feel his heart ache when reading this woman's testimony, he would feel something inside him, calling him to help this poor woman and let her seek the justice she deserves.
Thus this aspiring young lawyer would take the time to pen an letter to the poor woman
"Though nothing can replace the lost you have endured, nothing can make you forget. I pray that you can find some semblance of justice for the loss of two innocent lives"
