Peren was raised by his grandfather south of "The Talus Grove" in the Forest Realm of Irrinor. A small group of Mali'ame had settled in a canopy of trees surrounding a river bed to hide away from unsuspecting creatures. While his parents were around, his mother tended to his younger siblings and his father worked constantly. Peren's grandfather taught him everything he knows from identifying trees for construction and camouflage to hunting and defensive measures. Peren had lived this life for 16 years, until his grandfather was struck by a ravenous boar. As his grandfather was awaiting his death he told Peren his prophecy. "One day, you will reach the highest peak with two narrow cliffs, you will need to choose the correct side for greatness". Peren did not understand, but it was too late to ask what he had meant. At that moment Peren decided to set out on a new life path to find this purpose. Along the way he found friendship, belonging and love. This all escaped him betrayed for money, fame, and violence. Left penniless and nameless, he decided to tale revenge and quickly set off to a new land to do what he knew best. Carpentry/Building His knowledge of wood, building, and crafting became his trade, and slowly he forgot about his prophecy as a whole. He took a new identity and tried escaping the past, although it was never truly gone, he simply hid from it.
