    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using real world applications to a character/avatar you are portraying that would not have this knowledge, wisdom, or understanding to one's advantage. An example; a character/avatar learns information via discord over an "enemy faction" (Location of hidden gems). They use that to their advantage to steal the gems and trade information that shouldn't be known in such ways.)
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is a "cheap shot" sort of deal. I would describe it as always looking for the "best" side of your character/avatar and keeping 1 step ahead of everyone else. This almost always causes unfair advantage and realistically does not make sense in an RP world.
