Sara grew up in a small elven village (Apologies if this does not go with the sever lore, elves are different in many worlds) where she was a mischievous child. This contrasted greatly with the stiff attitudes of her parents and fellow elves. Sara was told to stop being so wild, but she simply ignored them and went on doing her own thing, instead of playing dolls with her sisters or trying to tag along with her brothers. At age twelve Sara developed a longing for adventures, and began to comit actual crimes for fun. When she turned eighteen, Sara stole a large amount of food during a famine, and actually got away with it for a couple of months, but once she made the mistake of telling one of her siblings the truth about where the food was coming from. (They had been getting suspicious.) They snitched on Sara and she was banished in disgrace. Unscarred by this, Sara paid to be taught in the art of blades as well as sneaking. She gave up many stolen coins to be let in on lessons and private sessions with some of the most skilled warriors in the land. At a tavern one stormy night, she was arm wrestling a stranger who mocked her and told her to "head back into the kitchen". She beat him, and another man who was impressed said she should become a mercenary or assassin. She took the advice and soon began to be paid for killing important officials as an assassin. She did this for almost a year, until things got a little hairy when she got too bold in her jobs. After being caught and nearly executed (Sara was vouched for by a friend who had a silver toung) She gave up her career as an assassin, and now explores around the world, removing bandits from smaller towns, hunting, and going on journeys with other adventurers. Occasionally, Sara will become a mercenary during times of war, or when she is feeling bored and longs for some of her old life.
