The chieftainess peers over the invitation, arching a brow as she purses her lips. "Perhaps..." she hums, thinking for a moment. "I could bring the O'Hara Grey."  Underneath the growing list of preparations for her wedding, she makes note of the event.

The Chieftainess of Clan O'Hara peers over the decree. "hmmm...." She shows it to her trusted bannerman, Oliver, giving him an assertive nod of approval.

Éléonore O’Hara de Astrea furrows her brows in disgust upon reading the poster.

Eleonore O'Hara de Astrea tears up upon reading the missive. "She will be missed as our queen. Thank you for all that you did for us, cousin." She then perks up, remembering that she has a de Astrean dinner party to plan!

Eleonore O'Hara de Astrea smiles softly, yet a bit of sadness rests in the creases of her lips. "He was a great king. I am sad to see him step down, but I guess change is the one thing we cant live without." She looks at Oliver, a slight sigh escaping her lips, reminding her of how much things have changed within the past couple years.

Edelgard Phoenix O’Hara is the 10 year old daughter of Eleonor O’Hara de Astrea and Vakr O’Hara. She has an older brother, Astvald, a younger sister named Hanelore, and a younger brother named Lex. Edelgard has long light blonde hair, yellow-aurum colored eyes, and pale skin. She wears dresses provided by her mother. She has been described as a bit fiery and flame-like by her parents, so perhaps she is more of a pugnacious and driven child.

She spent part of her childhood in Norland while her parents served in the Elysium rangers. She had close connections with the friends of her blood mother, Madilane. She would play with the children of Alkalorian leader Mesh’la’lus Varaad. Mesh was the woman that returned Edelgard to her father after her mother, Madilane, passed away. 

Her father died mysteriously at the hands of a hoard of bears. His body was never found, for it was dragged into a cave. Her mother is still alive, and she serves as Chieftaness of Clan O’Hara, which Edelgard works to serve alongside her siblings. She currently resides in Talon’s with her younger sister, Hanelore, keeping watch over her in their father’s now permanent absence.

Eleonore O’Hara de Astrea sets down her decadent leather-bound notebook after waiting for the dark blue ink to dry. She slips the quill into its place in the binding, and wipes away the wetness from underneath her eyes. She hopes that her speech will bring justice to a beloved life that was taken away from her too quickly.

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Phantoms are post-mortem manifestations made of ectoplasm and emotion. They are lingering ghosts unable to pass into the Elysian. They are extremely weak to aurum weapons, which are very lethal to ghosts, and voidal magic. They are also affected by sunlight, but it doesn’t do much other than bother them. There are 5 types of phantoms. 

1. Revenants: confused ghosts that are the first step towards becoming another evolution of ghost. They have just returned from their unexpected death, thus causing them to be confused about their existence. Their figure is uncertain, flickering and unstable, just like their mental state. When they realize their death, they will move on to another stage, depending on their reaction to the death. They also cannot interact with objects. Phantasmal, no need to age or take care of body, levitation, cannot move in ways an mc player cannot, cannot float 1 foot off ground, dematerialize to hide themselves by being closer to the Elysian. Weak hold on objects.

2. Poltergeists: A type of ghost that comes after the revenant form. It does not accept the way that they died, so they become violent and chaotic, but not by nature. It is due to their emotional state. They also look sacrier and more monstrous.  Manifesting physical appearances, dematerializing, shapeshifting, manipulating objects with minor telekinetic abilities by channeling their ectoplasm, creating bad vibes (passive auras of negative emotions felt by people nearby). Manipulation of foreign corpses, haunting through a limited amount of omnipresence. 

3. Gravens: A graven is a type of physical-form ghost that is bound to one task or duty until it is fulfilled. They can be killed with steel, not gold or silver like other creatures. They also suffer discomfort in sunlight, although they are caused no harm from it. Abilities: harming others, interaction with the world around them, flicker and fading from sight, they do what their task needs them to do. They can die or be slain. Can interact with the world around them, tempting auras, can create a tool from their ectoplasm. 

4. Specters: Ghosts that have accepted their deaths peacefully, unlike poltergeists. They are sometimes sad or upset, but they are rather benevolent. They often resemble who they were personality-wise in their life before their death. They can manipulate their form so that they can manifest a physical appearance of their body or of an animal body. They can be colors such as white or yellow, but they also bear unsettling features that of the undead. They cannot change states like a poltergeist or specter. Shifting forms, phantom grasp, instill peace through an aura of positive emotion, can shift their ectoplasm into a foreign vessel but not manipulate minds or corpses like a poltergeist. Sanctuary by choosing a specific location to increase their influence within a space.

5. Phantom Beasts: Animals that dont choose death and live on as spirits. They are driven through their deaths due to their duty. They are simple minded creatures that don't differ much from their existence before death. Their bodies are translucent and glowing, and they don't have any gruesome marks from their deaths. Can rapidly fade out of the mortal realm in order to become invisible, can lash out, hunt, or play if partially corporeal. 

6. Apparitions: Ghosts of combined souls from a mass amount of deaths. They are also the most powerful form of phantom. They are also bound to the place where it is created, and it holds onto there until it has been destroyed, similar to how a graven can move on once it completes its task. Their personalities are made up of the many souls of the dead, thus giving it conflicting and overlapping personalities and mindsets. Abilities and powers: conjuring its ectoplasm, shapeshifting, controlling an area of influence, become more potent over time due to aging, cannot scheme due to its unstable sanity, are aware of everything within the area it was created in.
