Rowan Wrothkar was born in the Kingdom of Norland to a family that he had never known. They sold him into servitude at the age of 5. He was sold to a noble family and rarely ever saw them he spent his time with the families steward Talyn Bernath serving him as a squire then scout when he reached adulthood. His younger years were spent with gruff and serious men. None of which he would call friend. The only friend he had was Talyn himself he had pitty for the boy and treated him almost like a son. Talyn taught him of the Red Faith the religion of his people. Rowan learned all Talyn had to teach, but resented the religion for his people had forsaken him and cast him into a life of service. He was at last released by his master at the age of 28. He had served his master as a forward scout for many years and earned his freedom from his masters after his many years of service and upon being freed, he put his skillset to work.
Now a nomadic wanderer a skilled archer and scout available for hire. No elves. Ever no exceptions. His strong dislike of the Elven people was brought on by a band of Elves that had hired him to guide them over a mountain pass. They didn't make it half way before he was knocked unconscious and taken to their encampment where he was held and tortured for 26 weeks before finally making his escape thanks to a young elven girl who took pity on him. She died in the escape and Rowan has since resented the elves and their kind. He now spends his days leading groups from town to town or more to his liking Tavern to Tavern. Rowan is a fairly easy person to get along with when he has had a bit to drink. However he can be an unbearable drunkard if he gets too far gone. He has faith in his blade, bow, and coin. When he is on the road on his own away from people he reflects upon the girl that died so that he could continue his wretched existence.
