Ev'allei was born on the western coast of Tahn. Her father was a stone carver and sculptor that had grown up on the same shores his entire life. Her mother was a fisherman that had traveled throughout Tahn and was anxious to getting moving again. After resistance from Ev'allei's father, she decided to leave on her own. From the age of four, Ev'allei was only raised by her father. As a child, she learned to swim, hunt, fight, and paint. Fighting and sparring was her least favorite activity and she avoided it constantly, preferring to hide away and work on other skills. This caused some conflict between her and her seed. Everyone around her followed the Way of Ichor and shamed her for her passivity. This caused her to believe more so in the Way of the Sage. As a teenager she started to wander farther from home and learn more about the world. At 19, she carved a boat from the Water Horse trees growing by the nearby river and started sailing from Tahn to the nearby islands. She would still visit her father on the coast occasionally, but largely kept to the water. When she was 28, she came back home to discover that her father was terminally ill. She stayed with him in the last month of his life. Since then, she's tried to learn more about medicine and alchemy. This is all in the hopes of finding out what exactly her father had and how to prevent others from dying from it.
