[General Information] Hazem "the Red" Ghazali, was born and raised in a remote desert village, far from the known realms, and so is considered a "Farfolk". He is mostly known for his legendary adventure story, when he was captured by a hostile tribe and then left in a cage for a decade, without food and water. [Early life and imprisonment] His father was a sheep herder and provided his village with food and clothes. His mother was primarily taking care of Hazem, but she also helped her husband by weaving the wool on the loom. Hazem also had a brother 8 years older than him, named Ahmed, who was ambushed and killed by a hostile tribe called the "Amari", when transporting goods in another village for trade. His brother died when Hazem was only 5 years old. Because of that tragedy, Hazem's mother decided to commit suicide 1 year after the event, as she was not able to live in peace with the idea of her firstborn's death. At that point, his father decided to give Hazem up for adoption to a friend of his, named "Jawwal", who lived in a bigger town, located in the State of Sutica, far away from all the raids caused by the Amari. When he was living with Jawwal, he was taught how to read and write and how have self control of the mind. In this town, Hazem fell in love for the first time with a young baker girl and soon started dating. At 17 years of age, Hazem decided to work with the local caravan, to repay his debts with Jawwal, who took care of him for a long time. He was very careful and always followed a precise route, in order to get to his next destination (he didn't want to end up like his older brother). One time, as he was travelling the region, the one thing he feared of occurred; out of nowhere, a big sandstorm struck Hazem and his caravaneers. He ran inside a nearby cave, while the rest of the crew was eaten by the sandstorm. He soon realized he wasn't the only one in the cave, Amari tribesmen were inside. He got caught, captured and put in a cage. The tribesmen barely had food for themselves, so feeding their prisoner was not the priority. After 3 weeks of captivity, all the tribesmen had left the cave in search for a better place to settle, so from this point on, Hazem was alone. The first days he tried to get out of the cage but was unsuccessful. Later on he will experience visions and hallucinations, with him fighting the "demons" of hunger and lunacy. [Getting out of the cage] 10 years after the capture, after falling in coma multiple times, he finds the strength of getting on his feet, and realizes he has became so slim, that he could pass through the rusty bars of the cage. He gets out and starts wandering in the barren desert, in search for food and water. After falling again in coma, he wakes up in a magnificent city, in front of him: a beautiful market... [Origin of his nickname] He was given the nickname "the Red" for his rough past, as the color red symbolizes blood and suffering.
