Born to a poor family, Glas was abandoned at a young age due to his parents not being able to afford to care for him. The small wood elf suffered from anxiety and clung onto most he met, he was later on adopted by a single human female named Margaret Scav, a kind older and jolly woman who taught Glas how to live off of the land and allowed him to work in her general store in The Mushroom island amongst the lush forested land of Arcas and practicing Ilúvatarism. When he was first taken in by Margaret, Glas would panic if the woman left his sight; frantically running about and screaming in worry he had once again been left behind. The kind older woman took care of Glas like her own, helping him out of harmful tendencies and issues he suffered from early on in life, taking pride in Glas and often times bragging to her friends about her son. As Margaret grew older, Glas took over the family business which was a small general goods store, crafting and delivering goods and caring for his mother figure as she once did for him. Only two years past when Margaret passed away, Glas grieved her death and shut himself in the store for months until he finally re-opened, where he worked tirelessly to maintain the store- but he was unable to prevent its inevitable closing. Glas took to traveling, hoping to obtain more goods in order to re-open his mother's store once more, he favors the exploration of abandoned structures and the discovery of plants that are new to him. Glas currently resides in the Kingdom of Norland where he sticks out amongst its residents, leaving the grounds every other day or when he can to explore and gather items.
