Grayson was born in Haeseni, where he grew up trusting everyone. Gray had not met his father as Gray's father died in the war against the Trade Kingdom of Sutica. Grayson had been living a tranquil life with his mother. One day, there was a starving stranger on the street, so Gray took him in, he was taken care of by Gray and his mother, but one day the stranger (whose identity was unknown) betrayed Gray by stabbing his mother. The stranger managed to escape, but Gray's mother did not make it. Gray was trying to put up a tough front on the outside, but everyone knew he was suffering inside. Gray's neighbors came and comforted him, fed him, gave him a place to stay, and helped Gray continue his education. Gray was grateful for their help, but he did not want to trouble them any longer. Grayson was twenty when he came to this conclusion. Grayson left towards a tavern in Karosgrad called The Old Stout Crow Pub. Grayson had set up a life for himself as a bartender. One day, Gray realized that he wanted more than this simple life, so he left the tavern in search of the moment he can face the source of his pain.
