Alula looks up from the book in her hand, her face wearing an expression of surprise. After quickly leaving a bookmark at her place, she closes the book and gingerly places it in the tan book bag that hangs off of her shoulder. "Well," Alula said meekly, looking at the ground as she spoke, "I was hoping I could have a fresh start... In my home, I did not have many friends, so I was hoping I could find some here. Or, at the very least, I might enjoy having a different night sky outside my window as I read in the evenings."
