Sh'yen was born in a small village within the forests of Sutica. Her father was a honest merchant and taught Sh'yen lessons on economics and trade. Her mother was a small village doctor that studied the wild herbs growing within the forests of Sutica. When Sh'yen was 10, she started apprenticeship of her mother to make small cures and bandages for the family. Her mother took care of the entire family because her father made trips out to different towns and villages each week to get new goods. She had two younger siblings and an older sibling. Since she was young, she was always interested in magic and would read many books about the mysterious power of magic. She had made a promise with a friend to go travel the world and see the different communities and people, however her friend moved away before her fifteenth birthday.
