He was born outside of Kal'Nikaer. He had a normal childhood, his parents raised him to be loyal and brave, his father taught him how to use a forge, his bestfriend was a mountain dwarf, he was about 100 years older than Hyrdal but they became as close as blood. Hyrdal was an only child and did not have many friends, but the friends he did have were as close as his family. He was educated well growing up, his father was well versed in the forge as well as the arcane arts, but would not teach Hyrdal the latter. He was very adventurous growing up, never straying from a batter or a challenge. His best friend was killed in, "The War of the Beards", the fact that he failed to protect his friend haunts Hyrdal to this day. Now, both of his parents have died from age. He wanders the wilderness, training, getting stronger, and looking for a home and a people to call family, people he will stop at nothing to protect.
