Having been born on 10SA, Mathias' family had already established themselves in the new world of Almaris in the Kingdom of Haense. Living in Karosgrad, he lived a simple life of doing not much besides wandering the streets and helping his mother and father with their business as merchants. His days usually spent just wandering around the city with his friends when he was not working in the shop with his parents. This continued for some time until his mother and father came down with a disease that left them bedridden. Shortly there after, his parents both passed away due to their lack of funds to cover medical expenses. Mathias was saddened and distraught over his family's death and this put a fire underneath him. He did not wish this to happen to himself or his future offspring and drove him to the man he is today. Now he spends his time constantly working and providing for himself so that he doesn't fall to the same ill fate his mother and father did. Mathias now has set his sight on the Haense Royal Army, seeing this as an opportunity to secure his future and a comfortable life to live.
