Hi! I'm Raven and I am so glad to meet you! I'm non-binary (they/them pronouns) and I have magic. I can control nature, as in making things grow from nothing, and use it to protect myself. When I was about 8 my mother was taken away because the kingdom I used to live under found out she had powers (she could control water). The only reason they didn't get me is that I was out collecting herbs for my mother. Lemongrass to be specific. I came back to a note on the table telling me to go back home to Elvenesse and get back to our people. I had heard about this place before, but it was all the way across the ocean and then over many more lands. Why did she move so far away is what I wonder, but I guess I'll soon find out. I meditate every day to stay in tune with my spirit and I ask my spirit guides for help along the way to becoming strong and one with my powers. I'm 19 now and feel pretty confident with my powers, but I know I still have a long way to go. I want to show my mother that I can be stronger than she ever was. I want to make her proud. I know there are people who don't accept magic, and some places where it's forbidden, but I will do my best to make it to a place where I can live peacefully with my powers. I want to know that everything will be okay and I can't know that until I get there myself. Maybe I'll get there soon, maybe it'll be another 11 years. Either way...I'm ready for whatever this journey throws at me next.
