Thynar Steelkind was born in Kal'Darakaan 43 years ago. His family owned a blacksmith which ran well. Unfortunately their store got outcompeted by someone else's shop. This forced them to take a loan to prevent them from losing the shop, but they did not manage to get back their customers. As a result they still lost the shop, and now have a loan. Thynar Steelkind has set out to become a merchant to repay his family's debt, and see the world.
He was educated as a salesperson, for he always lacked the physical strength to become a proper blacksmith. His family hoped to make him the front seller in the shop, but when they ran out of business he went to try and make money in a different way.
In his earlier days he's had multiple run-ins with bandits, which always ended in him handing over his wares, managing to hold back some, and starting over again. These days he hopes to find a caravan whenever he goes to travel to a different place by land.
