Karma grew up in a small village with his mother inside the territory of the Crown of Elvenesse. They were not very well off so Karma rarely had much to do and spent two years doing basically nothing until eventually Karma discovered books, he taught himself how to read and write with the help of strangers in the village he lived in and because of all the time he spent alone in his thoughts he thought of many different ways of swaying people. His mother would teach him not to tell people about his mixed heritage because of the thought he might get oppressed. As a kid Karma had a very close friend named Onon which he nicknamed Onion. Karma and Onon would always explore the woods together both of them had skills that the other lacked Karma had knowledge on the customs and traditions of different places that he picked up on in his books well Onon had survival knowledge for the outside world. Both Onon and Karma enjoyed practicing combat and exploring sometimes they would even spar eachother with Karma's martial arts against Onon's aim with bows and throwing weapons. When Karma turned 17 his mother passed away because of an illness and after a long while of grieving Karma decided to venture out of the village with Onon.
