grimdaweld was born to the silvervien clan, down in the depths of the mines to parents named grim and mary. his childhood was relatively normal, making friends, going to school, and mining for ores when he was bored. however, he was different than the other silverviens. grimdalweld had no concept of religion. he found it strange that they should be thankful to some entity in the sky when the god has never shown itself. shocked, the clan banished him and forbid him from ever saying he was a silvervien again. grimdaweld was 12 when he got kicked out and roamed the mountains looking for work when it suited him. no longer chained down by religion or the clan, grimdaweld was free to do whatever he wanted and picked up the skills to do so along the way. he learned how to use his brain properly which his brothers and sisters hadn't figured out how to do yet, and he learned other important skills like blacksmithing and mining. however, as he was traveling to a new settlement, grimdaweld came across other silvervains. disgusted with thier fallen brethren, they stripped him of all his items and left him to die on the road. angry at his pathetic loss, he vowed to himself that he would become the strongest he possibly could, and gain the fighting skills necessary to become a legend of battle so heard of it would reach his family back home. that is where we are today, as he makes his way to a settlement to achieve his dream as a legend.
