Born in a forest near the outskirts of Aegrothond, Aidas was born in a small cottage, with only the small horizon of Aegrothond to remind them of outside life, their parents were their only companions, their father taught Aidas hunting (they never liked it but had a proficiency with the dagger) and their mother homeschooling them, at which they excelled in, for most of Aidas' adolescence a sense of boredom plagued at their mind slowly building pressure until they snapped, running away to go to the city of Aegrothond. Unfamiliar to the city life, Aidas (around 16 at the time) had a wild sense of curiosity and mischievousness, they lived in the city and soon made friends with two boys who showed Aidas the city, they showed them how to get food and who to avoid...the two boys eventually took advantage of Aidas and started using them to steal bread from a bakery. Aidas was adept at stealing and for 5 years stole bread for the boys, racking up a small fortune worth of a bounty on them. The boys quickly saw profit and betrayed their friend. Aidas lonely and disheartened wanted to go back to their home but they knew that was impossible and continued to steal bread to stay alive. One afternoon Aidas was heading to the bakery for food, silently reaching for a bread on display, Aidas grabbed and quickly tugged, getting their feet ready to dash into a crowd, when the bread was tugged the other way, adrenaline quickly overtook Aidas fearing that someone had caught them, looking over to the other hand holding the bread was a teenage looking human, with striking purple eyes and brown hair with a few purplish streaks in them, wearing an oversized coat, they offered to share the bread. This is how Aidas met Commotio, their life long friend who they still know up to this day. Commotio is the only person who actually knows Aidas' gender (they like to keep it a secret to confuse people). Their friendship is supported by many experiences and common interests, one of their most notable being the fact that they have a particular disliking for the Sea prince of Aegrothond, they look for each other to this day.
