Fabulo was born to a high elven mother and a wood elf father. His mother had seemingly been more accepting of other races than high elves traditionally were and was happy with his father and their family at first. However, things went downhill as Fabulo grew up. Elves generally struggled to have a child and, after the birth of Fabulo, his mother experienced several traumatic failed pregnancies. By the age of 15, his parents were constantly fighting. After the honeymoon period at the start of their relationship and the many failures she faced, Fabulo's mother, driven by her family's hatred of his father, noticed more and more things she hated about wood elf practices. She found any form of nature worship as barbaric and refused to allow Fabulo or his father to practice it. This created a rift between the mother and father and left Fabulo in the middle. His mother saw in him all the things she hated about wood elf culture, especially the seed tattoo his father had given to him. His father saw in him all the things he hated about high elves, especially due to his high elven features such as his fair skin.
At 16, Fabulo escaped his home and lived on the streets of Laurelin (after reading the lore, I'm not 100% if this is still accurate as the lore i read is quite old so please let me know if I need to change this). He was able to become an apprentice to an ancient wood elf bowyer named Thrin. His mentor was kind and taught Fabulo how to use a bow and charisma to defend himself, Additionally, Thrin told Fabulo about how his seed as a child was a nomadic tribe that would constantly move around and see and learn new things. Fabulo was inspired by these tales and became determined to explore the world. When Fabulo was 21, Thrin passed away and Fabulo set off on a voyage around the world that he is still on to this day. Prior to leaving Laurelin, Fabulo scrapped off his seed tattoo, determined to sever any connection he had with his parents.
