Born in the Sultanate of Kharasi, rumour has it that he was the result of an infidelity committed by his mother, who committed suicide at his birth. His supposed father abandoned him shortly after, leaving the child defenceless against the adversities of fate. He was taken in by a family of warriors, who gave him the nickname Lobster, because of his particular skin colour, reddish as blood, at least when he was still a newborn. He grew up amidst mindless violence, senseless wars and an insatiable bloodlust. He was always against all this barbarism, by virtue of which he developed a complete repudiation of any kind of physical confrontation, surviving for more than a decade to all the severe beatings he received for refusing to learn the art, or rather the barbarity, of combat. When he could not stand it any longer, at around 7 or 8 years of age, he ran away. Once again stranded on a desolate and hostile world, populated by aggressive beings, with no combat skills and no ability to fight, he found himself at a crossroads: to go against his moral principles and stay afloat through the use of violence, or to continue to flee, in search of a peaceful, if possibly pleasurable, life. After several years of agony, trying to achieve a certain stability, he stumbled upon a farmer, who was kind and considerate enough to offer him a small piece of land for Lobster to farm. Enormously grateful for this gesture, he lived for nearly half a century (broadly speaking as he lost track of the time) working and making the most of this land, the way he considered most appropriate to express his gratitude to the kind gentleman, earning the nickname Lobster the Peasant. The farmer eventually died, and in the aftermath, Lobster lost the rope that held him to his peaceful life, and, after a prolonged deliberation, he decided to set sail for the Grand Duchy of Balian in search of glory, the glory for which he had never been eligible in his entire life.
