He grew up in a small mountain village, becoming interested in reading and the outside world after a traveling merchant gifted him a book as a boy. Ever since then he's been traveling around, collecting books, maps and traveling as a quiet nomad. He had some friends back in the village, climbing and playing pretend soldier before he left. As for his family he his mother died during child birth and was raised by his father who lived his life as a lumberjack and encouraged his hopes to see outside their home in the mountains of Norland. He promised to someday return to the kingdom of Norland as a scholar and hunter. He was able to learn how to survive in the wild and how to fight from his father so he wouldn't die out in the wilderness but beyond that he is self taught in history and politics of the land. Currently he's traveling around the land fresh from his village and excited to see the world.
