Living his entire life in what is now known the Harvest Confederation, Astrilisto has live his entire life as a wheat farmer. Life on a farm is very lonely, except for the time spent with family, this has prevented Astilisto from having many friends at all (unless you count those he has meant when going on trade runs with his father). Astrilisto is not maester of alchemy by no means, but his mother wanted to make sure he could make his way in the world in more ways than farming alone, she ensured he made time for readings every night that he could cook the finest of homemade meals. His father on the other hand fealt that physical labor was the greatest tool a man could own, teaching him how to farm and raise animals of any kind. His father also had a fine interested in swords never having the skill of a knight, but knowing which end was pointy one and knowing where to stick it. His father Amori, and mother Demonde, have been married for all of Astrilisto's life, both parents since being diseased. His mother died during the battle of Vienne when she and his father went to sell their yield of wheat. Astrilisto was only 18 at the time of his mother's death, spending the next 22 years with his father before Amori passed away in the night after slowly losing his will to live after losing the love of his wife.
