I would first compliment the man back. I would be a little bit scared of the people around me if they weren't high elves, considering everything that was said about them. After this, I would just go around and explore since I have never seen things like this before. For me, it would be a very good adventure and it would be eye-opening to see such new things that I have never seen before. I would be very excited but resentful with everyone around. Once I saw a shop with something I have never seen I would buy it to keep it as a memory and to show others back in the home what it is for, also to open their eyes. After some time exploring I would also start to talk to people about how their life is and ask lots of questions while taking notes down so when I am back home I will explain everything to the people so they are finally over this rivalry. If they were mean as they said to be, I would try to hide and then find similar clothes to what they wear and put them on, so that I would be less recognizable. I would also try to get a boat back and go to same place else. Soon enough, my parents would find me after sending people to look out, and then I would be back safe to explain the truth about them all.
