As Evellios grew, he learned that sympathy could not be found from the cruel arbiters of the stables. Because of the malnutrition, along with regular beatings by guards his mother grew very weak. Finally, on the 4th of the 4th of the 44th, she died. Before this, Evellios was told how to rise to power by his mother, and he only looked to her for consol. After she died, he found that kindness and love was the weakness that made his mother meet her unfortunate fate. After this, he joined an armed force, and was again shot by the fourth arrow from an enemy ranger, hospitalising him. He again reformed his ideals, and now works to further his own power, remaining constantly analytical and wary of others, and will obtain this power, no matter the cause.
