You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” A sepulchral silence filled the room. The old woman looks at me. "I would rather not talk about it," I said. The old woman looked at me immobile and I understood that she needed an answer. "I just want to show what I am worth, throughout my life, I have not had the opportunity to prove it, I just want to show the people who left me aside, I want them to realize the mistake they made" I said already in a brusque and aggressive tone. "Go away" I left the store and as if it was a dream, I came out of the trance and when I wanted to go back I was already too far away.
