You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?))
Qvintus stops for a moment to briefly eye the woman's appearance, and then locks his gaze on the woman's eyes. "Before I give you my answer, may I ask, who am I talking with? " he answers, with a calm and a rather cold voice, and a sceptical expression. You can hear from the tone he speaks with that he chose his words rather carefully. He stops for a moment, eying the woman again. He sits on the cushion that the woman gestured at earlier, and with a bit warmer tone says: "Alright, I suppose we can talk. My past? I am a traveler, I have no place to call home, no person to call family. I have been wandering around many lands, but I have yet to find peace with myself. Why am I like this? Well, there isn't any tragic backstory. I left my home to seek something, although I'm not sure what that 'something' really is. Maybe I can find it here. I haven't gone back since, and I doubt I ever will." After completing his story he asks the woman, "So, I've told my story, now it's your turn. Who are you, and why were you expecting me?" He stops, now waiting for an answer from the woman...
