You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Aeries lets out a heavy sigh. He hesitates for a moment, but inevitably agrees and takes a seat on the cushion. "I'm afraid it's not the happiest story." he says with a hint of grief in his voice. "I don't actually know a lot about my beginnings. Lost my parents at a very young age. Grew up with just my sister and I." Aeries stops for a moment, lowering his head slightly and closing his eyes, clearly reminiscing, before continuing. "Growing up was painful, I was wracked with depression for many years. Only thing keeping me from completely losing it was my younger sister... I still remember how softly she spoke, the comforting words... We did everything together, never one without the other. She even helped me design the outfit I'm wearing right now! Always reliable when it came to attire that one..." Aeries lets out a soft chuckle. "Was never meant to last, though. She and I had different paths to walk in our lives. I wanted to see the world, for all of its glory. I was eager to begin adventuring, ready to make something of myself. I tried to lighten up, trying to comfort myself with the fact that maybe one day in the future we'll cross paths once more, and I can share all of the exciting stories I had along the way. Haven't heard from her since, though." A deafening silence fills the room for a moment, before Aeries chimes back in a little more upbeat in his voice: "But all of that's in the past now, no sense in dwelling on it. 'sides, I've still got my partner to keep me company... We wander from place to place, looking for work usually. Speaking of which, you happen to know of anyone round here that could use a hand?"
