You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?))
"It been a long road, it has been I tell ya. Thank ya kindly for allowing refuge here Ma'am, truly. I'm but a faithful servant in service to a Baron, but we were attacked, and I must say these bandits are quite unruly." The Halfling let out a sigh, tugging at the right end of his majestic, light brown mustache, before returning to the conversation. "Least those that'd attack us be leaving some of our food to last us to another town, swear it they would from where we from. My Baron and I be separated, though I've hope to find him soon." For a moment, the expression on the Halfling's face darkened, before smiling at the Older Lady as he stood back up. "I sha bid you fair well then, as I really only needed a moment to rest. I must return to searching," to which he turned to step out of the battered tent.
The Old Hag called out for the Halfling to stop, saying, "You've yet to tell me your name weary traveler... Quite rude for someone who serves a Baron...", with the Old Hag snickering as she spoke.
"Apologies, even if we might not meet again, it would be rude. Mino Bonel, at your service for only a second longer now, and gone the next minute," The halfling said, his blue twinkling eyes with laughter as he went back on the swampy path ahead of him.
