You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Erin sits down and sighs. "Its kind of a lot to unpack, you know?" "When I was young my parents left me. Not for any malicious reason, they went off to war. My mom included, I think she was a medic. I don't remember what war it was. I was little, no older than four, and it was in some far off land that people around here don't really care about. They said they'd be back, and I'm sure they meant it, but they never returned." They seemed so confident in their eventual return that they didn't leave me with much.
