You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?))
Knox stood there across from the old hag with a suspicious look on his face. " Expecting me... huh? " He mutters before shrugging it off. " I apologize but I don't have much time for chatter but I will answer your question.. " He pauses for a moment to collect his thoughts and arrange his words. " You could say I'm a wanderer, I've been raised on this way of living since I was born.. I enjoy exploring this vast land and discovering what it has to offer.. sometimes I help people out along the way, some need medicinal herbs and others need someone gone.. " Knox's fingers were wrapped around his dagger's handle which was located on his waist belt from the moment he entered, he didn't trust his surroundings so he had to be prepared. " I live for myself and myself only, past experiences taught me that-... sorry. " He cut himself off, not wanting to dive too deep especially with a stranger. " Anyway, I'll be continuing my journey to the mountains... I hope my answer satisfied you. " Knox turned around facing the tent entrance as he raised his left hand, waving goodbye indirectly. " I'll be on my way now. " Knox walked out of the tent and made his way to the mountains.
