Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Hi," he says in a firm voice, "my memory isn't very good, but I'll do my best." He scratches his hair as he speaks. "I'm from a distant land. I came with my... my friends, seeking a better life. We ran away from home, out of foolishness, and I regret it to this day." He sits down at a nearby table, taking a deep breath before continuing. "My father was sick, and we were middle class. My mother and my brothers fled before me, due to food scarcity. My family... or rather, we were all sick, and we had no money." He pauses for a moment, remembering the hard times. "However, a kind Mage appeared and helped us. He smiles a little, "We're fine now... and I am grateful for that." "I want a peaceful life where I have no regrets," he says with a serene expression. "That's why I traveled here.
