You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Example: (delete this) I begin to draw my bow aiming at the crone's head but then a studder runs down my arm. Releasing the bow, a moment of silence passes, with me and her just staring upon one another. I relented an, "Ok." I begin with a sigh and say, "I grew up in a tribe of orcs where it always snowed, until a group of men and elves burned my village and slaughtered my people." I become visibly distressed and continue, "I hid and ran like a coward," I said said with despair but overwhelmingly guised with anger. "Everyday since then I vow that I would kill any human and elf the I come across. While living in the wilds, I became very proficient with a bow. This is my weapon of choice, I use range and perception to hunt down my enemies. Now I wander, looking for another purpose and eliminating all elves and men alike." I paused and wondered why I spouted all this at some old hag. "It doesn't matter I thought, she looks human enough." In a split second I raise and draw my bow and folly a n arrow between her eyes.
