Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Pierce takes a step back and grabs the hilt of he's blades, then he says with a angered tone "Why would i tell some old hag my story? your not just some old lady are you?" He study's the old lady's movements and doesn't see any bad intentions, with big sigh he finally sits down on the old cushion, his hand still gripping on the blade hilt "My story? its not interesting, not really..." He says this but his still feels curious about the old hag, he thinks for a while, then he suddenly talks "If you wish to learn my story... Then fine i will tell, but don't expect much" He starts remembering all his life and with a sadden tone he starts telling his story "My parents threw me away like trash... I didn't meet them". with a big sigh he continues "I grew up in a orphanage when i was young... i didn't last there long... That orphanage was raided by bandits...and i was sold off as a slave". He pauses for a moment, then continues where he left of "I was sold to a Assassin group... They force me to train day and night, I couldn't even rest for a second... After doing some jobs for them i ran away, best decision i ever made". finally calm his grip on his blades fall "I did become an Assassin at the end though... Since i don't have any other skills..." He brings his hand to his face, touching the brim of his mask "I still hide my face from the other Assassins... just in case" With that he stands up abruptly from the old cushion. And leaves two gold coins on the table "I enjoyed our little chat... take this as an reward...". He starts walking away, but before leaving he looks back at the old hag, " I guess you were really just some old lady huh?...". The words linger in the air, and Pierce finally leaves without looking back.
