You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?))
Katerina wearily marched in, settling herself onto the worn cushion. Her gaze shifted nervously around the dimly lit tent, her eyes flickering in the firelight. As the hag spoke, a chill ran down her spine as she parted her lips. The peasant cleared her voice, glancing over her shoulder nervously. "I'm Katerina." She lifted her body off the seat momentarily, sweeping her dress underneath. It was a few seconds before she allowed another tale to pass her lips."You have something I need." She swiftly took off her silk gloves and placed them on her lap. "I've been looking for the gem for years. It's my ancestors and means greatly to my fami-" She cut herself off promptly. After all, babbling was Katerina's weakness.
