You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) *She sits where the old woman gestures, watching her cautiously. "I uh, I was just passing through, needed a place to stop and rest for a bit." She looks around at the candles floating in the air a little uneasily before turning her attention back to the woman. "I'm sorry, do I know you?" She asks her, the woman's initial words of 'I've been expecting you' ringing in her thoughts. She sits there for a moment while the woman just stares at her, and after a few moments awkwardly clears her throat and shifts in her seat. "Well uh, anyways. I've been on the road for a few days, came down from up north. I was out hunting for a few days and came back to find my camp raided. Figured I had nothing better to do than move around for a bit, and after losing my owl to an ugly situation with a few wolves up there I wanted to come down south for a bit. Just clear my head a bit and see where the wind takes me, you know?" She gives the woman an awkward half-smile, clearly not in high enough hopes for a real one.
