You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) I address the witch with respect and sincerity, sharing my story while explaining the differences in my appearance compared to other dark elves. "This difference in my physical appearance is to the color of my skin. My red eyes and black hair also stand out among my elven brothers and sisters. These unique traits are a manifestation of an occasional genetic inheritance, the result of centuries of alliances and marriages between my family and other elven bloodlines."
