You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?))
Alayis, still ducked and halfway into the tent, freezes with her eyes on the hag as she finishes speaking. Her eyes then quickly scan and explore the tent. Once done, and feeling a bit more sure, she lightly steps over to the cushion while watching the old hag, in a very curious but cautious way. As she sits, she places her hand behind her to steady herself while she looks up at all the candles with a pinch of awe in her eyes. Then settles into her seat and completely faces the hag ready to begin. She starts-“Just only arrived not too long ago, but I’m here as something had drawn me out of my usual path. Apparently you knew I was coming though…so may I start with asking how?” Spoken in a very flat and even, low tone, and a blank but relaxed expression.
