Whitaker Wimble was visibly upset upon hearing of the loss of an essential founding member of the Wimble & Co brand. He wrote a short poem in her honor:
The grinning cat frowns from the tree upon which it sat,
The singing tunes of the whimsy birds suddenly fell flat,
A tear slips from Wimble eyes, as I remove my hat,
For today,
we mourn
the loss of the beloved miss Nat.
