You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Giving the crone a onceover, Elias eyes the cushion for a moment before giving a quick nod and sitting down. "Well...", his words linger for a moment, his mind searching for the words. "I'm just a simple lad. A scholar at heart. My parents were both farmers and I was the youngest of three brothers, so, unlikely to inherit the place. When a traveling scholar came about in the town I jumped on the opportunity of him looking for an apprentice. Traveled with him for about a decade and learned all I could. Now I'm setting off on my own to learn more." He gives a small nod, this time to himself- as if he's approving his words, before he looks back to the crone now, awaiting her response.
