You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study you. She looks at your tired slouch as well as your tattered green robes and well worn clothing that is practically falling apart. —”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
"Ah. You want my backstory." *AHEM* The stranger clears their throat. "I came from a small town far away, which was razed to the ground by evil bandits. After this, I have always yearned and longed to get my revenge and defeat all of the evil people in this world. Then, everyone can be truly safe." As they stated this, they raised their head ever so slightly, showing their worn and battle-scarred face for the first time and meeting the old hag's gaze. There was a fiery look in their eyes as they stared determinedly with their mouth set in a firm line.
